Part 2: Roller Coaster Project
Homework: Create a google form that you can use to analyze your classmate's roller coasters.
-Create your own Google Forms and share it with me and on our class blog.
Challenge:
Task: If you complete your assignments early, help your group members. If your whole group is done early, each of you can create a shorter roller coaster and design a theme park with your group roller coaster as the main attraction. |
Class Activity:
2 Day Challenge: Roller Coaster Project -Work in your new Project Groups to create your Roller Coasters. Day 1-Roller Coaster Creation: Build a successful Roller Coaster with your partner. Remember to take a screen shot of your successful Roller Coaster. You will need this image to help you recreate it. Day 2-Recreate with Desmos: Using Desmos, recreate your Roller Coasters using your knowledge of functions and their transformations. You should be able to complete this activity purely on the functions you learned from Part 1 of this Unit. (linear, quadratic, radical, cubic, rational) |
